I've got cedar boxes on the brain for some reason, so I decided to make a batch of smaller ones. I had a piece of reclaimed cedar that was holding up a porch for over 100 years. Back in the day they just set the post in the ground and eventually the bottom of the post rotted away and had to be replaced. There’s some good-looking grain for the tops. Glad I didn't hit the screw that used to be there, that would have been expensive. I’m excited to see how they turn out. These will be up for sale when they are finished.
